"CIRCUS" PRODUCES A SUCCESSFUL SON in 147JE6073 FAMILY HILL RINGMASTER
aAa 6-5-1-2-4-3 (semen price now $15) Sired by MEADOWLAWN J IMPERIAL Progenitor of what is becoming a globally successful sireline (he is the sire of the Danish production bull Skae Ide, in turn the sire of JPI standouts JAS Artist and Q Impuls) (he was also the sire of two Semex success stories, Curtsey King James-- sire of "Remake"-- and Van Holme Imperial Saturn). Old "Imperial" sired high components, both butterfat and protein, and the sort of desired type that also has proven to mature gracefully, with many of his daughters (Pleasant Nook J Imp Martha) now recognized as exceptional "brood cows". Birthed by FAMILY HILL F PRIZE CIRCUS (EX-94%) "CIRCUS" is rapidly "doing it all" as a successful show cow, consistently competitive production cow, and breeding proposition. She has multiple 1000+ bf lactations to her credit and a couple national show champion winnings for bragging rights. She has done much to suggest that her sire, Bovi Lact First Prize, is the "best" Grove son of the famed Glenamore Gold Prize (EX-3-CAN). CIRCUS is not a one generation wonder, rather she springs from a consistent cow line at Family Hill (her dam was an EX92% "Brook" with a good lifetime total), and her young daughters suggest we will hear more from this cow line.
CONSIDER "RINGMASTER" AS A FAMILIAR YET OUTCROSS PEDIGREE "J Imperial" was one of the last sires in a major AI system that was a total outcross to "Secret Signal Observer" (historical sire of Observer Chocolate Soldier and SS Quicksilver of Fallneva). Most of the modern AI sires are combinations of "Soldier" and "Quicksilver" (Soldier led to Top Brass and Sooner, Quicksilver led to Royal and Duncan, bulls like "Berretta", "Alf" and "Centurion" combine both, bulls like "Jace" are multiple descendents of both). J Imperial represents the sire line of Advancer Sleeping Jester, thru Jodys Imperial Surville, on a maternal base from the Zinnia family of Marlu. "First Prize" is a Sleeper x Milestone x Beacon Bas with a single touch of Quicksilver (who sired Stardust Gemini-- from a Nancys Sleeping Advancer-- who in turn sired Shamrock Grove Gemini-- from a Beauty Doris Master-- who when bred to Glenamore Gold Prize produced "First Prize", as well as the later show bull Shamrock Duaiseoir). "Gold Prize" is sired by a Canadian-bred son of JFD Empire, who is also a representative of the Milestone x Beacon Bas cross. SO you have a bull who has no "Renaissance", "M C Tops", "Juno" or "Sparkler" in his pedigree, as well as no "Jace", Berretta", "Lester/Lemvig", or "Centurion" in his pedigree. |
